The “2010 Small Business Attitudes & Outlook Survey” (April 12, 2010) shows that small businesses recognize the need for effective marketing to stay ahead of their competition. It also reveals that “about 42% of small-business owners said they would increase spending on advertising and marketing this year overall.” And within that group, online marketing (website, social media, SEO) clearly takes the lead over traditional outreach efforts.
