Using analytics and metrics to measure the return on investment of your marketing programs is crucial to your marketing efforts. According to a recent study by Omniture, most business owners understand that Marketing Cost, Orders, Average Order Size, and Conversion Rates provide the most actionable information. But the metrics they're best able to measure are more basic: Visits, Page Views/Visit, and Click-through Rate.
